Institute For Creative Dying is the solo project of Portland-based guitarist/composer Paul Michael Schaefer (Dead Death; Yardsss ∅ ∀ ‡; Abronia; Waver Clamor Bellow). His transportive audio-environments merge experimental guitar, bowed guitar, hammered dulcimer, percussion, and electronics.
