Wild Honey Live in Portland

Wild honey is a womens vocal trio based in the mountians of Southern Oregon comprised of musicians Peia Luzzi, Megan Danforth and Cyrise Beatty Schacter. Staying true to the heart of folk music, they allow old songs to emerge in new ways through their creative interpretations, leaning into the power of music to give voice to both current and timeless human stories.

Wild Honey performs an eclectic selection of their most beloved folk songs from the Celtic, Eastern European and North American traditions. The evening will include traditional instruments such as Panduri, Calabash Gourd, Harmonium, Riqq, and Charangon with lush three-­‐part harmonies. Throughout their concert, Wild Honey shares stories of travel, song meaning, and their personal pathways of learning and discovery within the traditions and music they love.
